During two weekends in July and August, horse-riding enthusiasts can enjoy one of the most interesting events of the year in the Cerdanya region (Barcelona). This is the Ruta de la Cerdanya, during which showjumping and dressage tournaments are held in several categories. Just a few days ago, the Cerdanya Equestrian Club hosted the show jumping tournament, sponsored by Land Motors and Solmòbil, official Jaguar and Land Rover dealers in the province of Barcelona. The facilities of the Cerdanya Equestrian Club are one of the sporting references of the region, thanks to an idyllic location very close to Puigcerdà. An ideal place to discover special models such as the new Range Rover and Jaguar F-TYPE.
Both vehicles were on display during the jumping tournament, together with other new models such as the new Range Rover Evoque, the new Land Rover Discovery Sport and the emblematic DEFENDER. All of these vehicles are highly prized by equestrian enthusiasts and practitioners, thanks to their unsurpassed 4×4 and off-road capabilities, as well as their high performance and, consequently, plenty of pulling power. The event enjoyed very pleasant weather, perfect for tournaments that form part of the calendar of the Spanish Equestrian Federation and the Federació Catalana d’Hípica (Catalan Equestrian Federation). New G’s members were able to test drive the cars on a section of the Cerdanya where they were able to demonstrate the 4X4 that the Land Rover brand allows with its new Defenders.
